About the Team:

The purpose of Sales Enablement is to support Enterprise, MNC and Public Sector sales by developing commercial propositions, managing frameworks, ensuring compliance with assurance and security and information reporting.

Sales Enablement team consists of four discrete functions:

-Commercial Planning and Development
-Framework Management
-Information Assurance
-MI & Reporting (Sales Operations)

Your Role:

The purpose of the role is to understand our customers` requirements and tailor propositions and campaigns to their specific needs and requirements based on sector, technology and industry insight.

The activities can be split into 3 main areas:

-Commercial Propositions and Campaigns - To support and drive incremental sales and contribution from targeted capabilities and campaigns
-Catalogues - To create value and simplicity which enhances our customer and sales awareness of core products and services
-Insights - leverage insights to develop, implement and manage propositions and campaigns that enable the increase of O2`s revenues, enhance customer stickiness and experience

Responsibilities:

-Developing and managing sector specific propositions where capex requirements are minimal, including development or customisation of product collateral to make it compatible with public sector framework requirements
-Assisting each of the sector sales teams to identify and prioritise products and propositions against the needs of their customers
-Owning and managing O2`s Customer Catalogues and insights
-Developing business cases for investments in new product and capability development, where its required for us to compete effectively in our chosen markets
-Managing specific initiatives to drive sales revenue and customer engagement such as O2 Rentals, O2 Recycle and O2 Open to agreed targets

Skills & experience:

-Communicating and Influence - Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external people at all levels, written and oral
-Customer Focused - Understanding of the B2B sales process, methodologies and how customer requirements and solutions are positioned
-Industry Knowledge - Good knowledge of mobile and fixed telecoms industry, especially rapidly growing areas such as mobility, converged fixed to mobile communications and value added services
-Commercial Thinking - Good commercial acumen with an eye for spotting an opportunity to develop revenue from nominated customers
-Passion & Drive - Self-starter and motivated to succeed with the ability to creatively adapt skills to match situations
-IT skills with office productivity tools
Additional Information:

You will be expected to engage with:
-The MD of Sales, Heads of Sales, Practice sales teams, to capture customer insight, help develop sales plans and evaluate the potential of new commercial propositions
-Product Teams, Marketing, Commercial Finance, Contracts and partners (e.g. Redeem, Cellhire) to develop, refine and manage propositions
-Customers, trade bodies (e.g. Crown Commercial Service) alongside the sales teams to test new propositions
-From time to time you will be required to travel to other O2 offices and customer or partner locations

Grade: MPG4
