Your Role:

The Tier 3 Skype For Business Engineer will be responsible for providing 3rd Line Support for Microsoft Skype For Business Solutions. This will include troubleshooting platform, Infrastructure, Application and Customer experience. Including the management of Standard and Enterprise Lync/Skype for Business environments, taking ownership of Lync/Skype for Business reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities:

- You`ll be responsible for the management of server infrastructure in line with Vendor Best Practice as well as Health Checks, Application Patching, WSUS, AV Management, Log Analysis, Access Control
- Take responsibility for Management of Standard and Enterprise Lync/Skype For Business Environments
- You`ll take ownership of Lync/Skype For Business reporting and analytics
- Production of Support Documentation
- Completing Service Requests and Change Requests
- You`ll be responsible for helping to Maintain Solution Integrity
- Providing input to Customer MI Reporting including observations and recommendations

Skills & experience:

- Skype for business Server 2015, Standard edition (up to 5000 users) and Enterprise edition (up to 80,000 users)
- Microsoft Lync 2013
- AudioCodes Session Border Controllers
- Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012 and 2012 R2 plus future releases
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Active Directory including resource forests and trusts
- General SQL backup and log management - SQL server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012 & 2014
- Certificate Services - Understanding of SSL and Internal CA
- IM&P, Conferencing and Collaboration and Enterprise
- Archiving: Skype For Business Archiving Server, Archives IM and Meeting contents
- Monitoring: Skype For Business CDR and Call Quality monitoring server
- Persistent Chat: Chat room application
- Office Web App: Part of the SharePoint family of servers

Additional Information: Performing occasional on-call support on a 24x7 basis
Grade: MPG4
