Our public sector team has been hugely successful in achieving their objectives, but we need to continue to build on this. As such, we`re looking for a Managing Partner to head up the Home Affairs team to bring focus and strategic direction.

In this role you will be responsible for the overall operational performance of the Home Affairs team across the UK. You will lead the team of 6 by providing technical and operational coaching and mentoring.

This role is pivotal to supporting the Head of Public Sector Sales in the creation, implementation and execution of the O2 public sector sales strategy.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure the team is appropriately structured, resourced and has the capability to meet the demands of O2`s growth plans
- Provide appropriate leadership and direction in line with the Head of Public Sector Sales vision and strategic plan
- Provide the team with effective motivation, incentivisation, performance management career development and retention support
- Oversee the development of a high performing sales team by ensuring an effective structure, systems and corrective action plans are in place
- Lead the team in strategic / complex sales opportunities
- Keep at the forefront of sector specific trends, product knowledge and other areas that might impact criminal justice agencies
- Ensure sales pipeline, sales cycles and sales forecasting is timely and accurate
- Act as a customer champion focusing on customer satisfaction and sales excellence to ensure customer retention and growth
- Proactively represent the Home Affairs team with colleagues throughout the organisation including C-Suite to ensure end-to-end customer excellence
- Responsible for the delivery of the relevant O2 business marketing strategy by networking, social media, speaking at events and any other appropriate activities

Experience:

- Whilst experience of working in the public sector would be a distinct advantage, we will consider applicants who have worked in other practices within the telco / digital / ICT industry
- You must be an outstanding sales leader with demonstrable experience of developing and motivating sales teams
- Proven experience of delivering transformational outcome driven solutions
- You must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable presenting at board level internally and externally
- Commercially minded with experience of P&L ownership
- Self-motivated with high levels of personal integrity and ethics and an understanding of corporate compliance
- Tenacious, robust and capable of dealing with ambiguity, conflict and difficult situations
