About the Team:

The role sits within the Commercial Contract Management team within the business planning function of the networks organization. The team are responsible for managing the performance of our key contracts within networks. Ensuring suppliers are achieving the SLA`s that they`ve committed to within contract schedules. It is a newly created function which in the first year has found significant opportunities for reclaiming credits where suppliers haven`t achieved SLA`s previously and reduces any forward liability for Telefonica by plugging gaps in contracts.

Your Role:

Reporting to the Head of Contract Management this role is responsible for the commercial performance management of the highest value and highest risk Supplier contracts that oversee network operational activities. This individual is primarily accountable for the in-life management of specific contracts and must ensure the cost-effectiveness and value for money of these contracts. You may delegate specific accountability where there are addendums under the contract requiring specific management e.g. projects under a framework.

Responsibilities:

-Ensuring Telefonica meet their internal performance Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in accordance with their contractual agreements. Tracking TUK performance in relation to contract SLAs and reporting these to relevant Supplier Relationship Managers and/or Delivery Managers where appropriate to implement improvement initiatives
-Tracking Supplier performance as defined by the contract SLAs
-Undertaking analysis on Supplier and TUK data to show the commercial performance of the contract and identify any potential Supplier or TUK liabilities. This includes the identification of service credits and financial exposure
-Reporting contract performance along with options available to the Contract Holder (Networks Leadership Team member) for a decision
-Administration of the contract through input to relevant systems and ensuring updates to system are made in a timely manner and contract data is available and up to date

Skills & experience:

-Demonstrable contract management experience as well as a record of accomplishment of addressing complex problems and delivering effective solutions
-Must have experience managing large commercial contracts with analytical proficiency to manage and interpret operational data
-Strong stakeholder management experience
- Strong leadership and communications skills are an essential part of this role along with the gravitas and credibility to operate and communicate with senior level
-Must be able to work individually to an exceptional level but also as part of a highly performing contract management team.
-Excellent written, oral and presentation skills are required for this role due to the regular contact with internal customers and external Suppliers
