About the team

Your role

The role requires someone who has hands-on experience in delivering a security service and can demonstrate they have held responsibility and accountability for all associated security day to day activities on an account/customer they are working for. The candidate will ideally have previous experience performing a CISO role within a government / secure environment & ideally hold at least one of the following Security qualifications; CISMP, CISM or CISSP.

Responsibilities

-Responsible for ensuring that all account contractual security requirements are delivered, managing relationships with shareholders and Product Owners at CISO & executive levels
-Provide & plan strategic direction for the delivery of security, demonstrate significant experience in managing complex security programmes
-Proactively promote and identify security services which enhance the customer service and drive growth, able to translate complex security information into layman`s` terms for those that are not conversant with security knowledge and services
-Work closely with our security operations centre and drive through service improvements for our customers and business
-Holistic responsibility for all aspects of security, including technical, operational, procedural, physical, personnel security

Demonstrable Experience

-Understanding of IP networking and Network security (Firewalls, proxies, DNS, IDS/IPS, switching/routing, encryption, etc)
-Understanding of operating system internals, especially for Unix-based systems
-Excellent analytical and cyber security skills
-A strong background in deployment automation and configuration management (Ansible/Ansible Tower/Puppet/Salt)
-Knowledge and experience with PowerShell / Bash and scripting languages.
